Project: idoleyes Magazine Design

For this project, I designed a conceptual magazine titled idoleyes, an experimental publication exploring themes of celebrity culture, identity, and visual obsession. The design fuses bold typography with surreal compositions and layered visual metaphors to reflect the tension between admiration and distortion in pop iconography. Each spread plays with hierarchy and scale to challenge conventional editorial formats and create a visually immersive experience.

Methodology:
I began by researching fashion and art magazines known for pushing visual boundaries, alongside academic texts on media theory and spectacle. Using this as a foundation, I sketched initial layout frameworks and developed a system of typographic and photographic treatments that could shift and evolve across pages. The final product is a high-impact editorial piece that invites the reader to question what it means to look, be seen, and idolize in today’s image-saturated culture.
